Drug and substance abuse: A woman's nightmare My heart is bleeding for women out there. Women in every form they come in, mothers, wives, sisters and daughters who have been given a bitter pill to swallow by drug and substance abuse in our different communities. From the moment they give birth, a woman wishes nothing but the best for their children. From a very tender age mothers see doctors, teachers, engineers, presidents etc in their children. Our mothers sacrifice a lot of things for us to get a quality education and to be respectable people in our communities. Imagine the heartbreak ,when a mother who worked so hard to raise her child loses that same child to crystal meth popularly known in Zimbabwean streets as Guka. Today in Marondera I woke up to the sad news of a Guka user (name withheld) who was stabbed by another Guka user ( name also withheld) with a scissors over a drug related argument.
